Arenal Volcano Tour

The Arenal Volcano Tour is a full-day experience that includes transportation from Los Sueños, Herradura, or Jacó Beach. The drive takes approximately 2.5–3.5 hours depending on traffic and weather.

Once in the Arenal area, activities typically include a guided walk along the rainforest trails near the volcano, views of the lava fields from previous eruptions, and time at the hot springs, which is the main highlight for most visitors.

The region is known for stable wildlife sightings such as toucans, coatis, and various rainforest species. Lunch is usually included at a local restaurant facing the volcano. This is a long day but one of the most complete nature experiences available within reach of Jacó and Los Sueños.
